Alien Nation: The Enemy Within (1996)

Based on the 1988 film Alien Nation, this is the fourth spin off film from the 1989 TV series that followed the original film. Starring the cast of the TV series this is a made for TV film that came after the TV Series failed to get past the first season.

This film starts with the death of an Eeno, an underclass of newcomer that lets the detectives discover and discuss their thoughts on racism. As the usually mild mannered George takes offence and wants to snub the case. This is an interesting look at racism within minorities. The Newcomers face racism from all sides within the world the now inhabit and it is interesting to see their reactions to the under classes within their own race and how George is confronted by Matt on his unfounded feelings.

This is very enjoyable considering this is actually the 4th TV film in the series and by now it could be getting very tired and cheap, you can see there is still love for continuing the story and I would love to see a remake of this series, I think it could work. This is another 3 star film and is very enjoyable within the confines of the series of films.
