Michael J Fox stars as a Dr given the opportunity to move
to Los Angeles on the way he is sidetracked by almost hitting a cow and he runs
into a fence. He is then forced to remain in the small town where he has to
serve community service while he tries to get away to his big opportunity. If
you have seen Disney’s Cars then you will know this story as this is the
original story that Cars is based on.
This is the first time I have seen the film and I have to say that
I was not really that aware of the story and it was not until after seeing it I
recognised the story. Michael J Fox has the young energetic feel about him and
from the point where he hits the fence and he just whirls about the car
shouting and the locals just stand and look at him and you see him digging the
hole that he was in when he ran off the road.
I really enjoyed this film even though it is a simple story, you will see how it goes, it really is a feel good film and you are supposed
to like all the characters and based on the acting from Michael J Fox, Woody
Harrelson and Julie Warner and the older supporting cast you will have seen
them around, overall a film worth seeing and very enjoyable 3 stars for me.
